“A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same.” – Elbert Hubbard

One of the best moments is creating new memories and sharing them with the ones that mean the most. With my wedding coming up, it was time to ask my besties to stand by my side. We hosted a Bridal Party Brunch at the Hilton Waterfront Hotel in Huntington Beach. We had a spectacular view of the ocean on the patio of Shades Restaurant. A beautiful setting for the most beautiful people in my life. Our friends and family met us there where we had special gifts awaiting them. My girls received boxes filled with some of my favorite things; sweet smelling perfume, lotions, lip color, and some bubbly, along with their own unique passport holder to bring with them to our destination wedding. The guys gifts were a little more playful. Hubby gave each of his groomsmen an island beer, bottle coozie, smash ball, and caribbean rum. And of course we also asked them to be in our wedding! A wedding party to me is the people in our lives who played a role in our relationship. They are the people we can’t live without. The ones that offer advice, let us cry on their shoulder, make us laugh and bring a smile to our faces. I am so lucky to say that I have those people in my life. Austin and I both do. I loved having a day to tell our bests how much they mean to us! O and that they need to travel across the country, take a plane, car, and ferry, followed by a 20 minute hike to stand by us on our big day; and they did! The rest of our bridal party afternoon was filled with wedding talk, travel plans, delicious food, tasty drinks, and lots of hugs. The best wedding party brunch I could have asked for.

XO, Mary
