Mary's Bridal Shower

I don’t know if there’s any other household that loves throwing a good party as much as the Krygiers. When it comes to parties, Mary and I go into DIY craft mode and start pinning away on Pinterest. We take party planning very seriously. So, when Mary got engaged summer of 2014 we put our party hats on and got to work.

I was lucky enough to be my beautiful sister’s maid of honor, and with that title came planning her bridal shower. Luckily for me Mary, of course, wanted to be a part of the whole planning process so I was ensured that the final event was something she completely loved. Mary wanted a boho chic theme with pops of pink and that’s exactly what she got! I don’t think there was any part of that shower that wasn’t made or crafted by us. From the ribbon banners that strung across our backyard, to the tablescapes, party games, lunch menu and dessert table, there was nothing left untouched by the Krygier girls. I think our parties turn out so well (I’m not biased or anything;)) because we each have our own area of expertise. Mary is the DIY queen, our mom is an expert in the kitchen, and there’s nothing I love more than dreaming up and creating the most perfect color-coordinated dessert table. We are a party force to be reckoned with. However, my favorite part of the shower was the present area. It was the cutest little nook in the corner of our yard and Mary looked absolutely gorgeous while she sat there and opened all her presents. It was the perfect backdrop. We are so fortunate to have had so many people come and celebrate Mary and Austin’s love. It means so much to have family and friends who love and support you and it gives me such satisfaction to pour my heart into something and see it turn into a beautiful event. While I am sad that Mary’s shower has come and gone, I am excited to start planning our next soiree!

Keep calm and party on! XO
